yes. It takes about a day...that is why the pill is only 97% effective IF USED CORRECTLY. as in, the same time every day. Every single day. Skipping just one or two days can cause you to ovulate and cause you to get pregnant. Hence the thousands of people who claim to have gotten pregnant while on birth control...
