You asked for forgiveness and they refused. It's their loss, not yours. Don't worry yourself over it. You did all you could do. That person's refusal just showed you how selfish and uncaring he or she really is. You're better off.

If you are truly sorry for whatever you are asking forgiveness for, then you have done the right thing and you can't do anymore.
Worrying about it, thinking about it, or giving it any more time at all will be counterproductive to you.
You have asked for forgiveness... that's your part. You are done.
Their granting forgiveness, or not, is their part and they will bear the burden (or blessing) of their decision.
