They have a high pitched sound and I heard them in Starbucks. They are a new band. It's driving me crazy!!!

If you heard them in Starbucks, then Starbucks is probably selling a CD with them on it. Do some detective work. Go ask what CD they were playing. I'm sure the kind folks that work there and have to listen to it all day will know.

Could be the new Yo La Tengo, off of the album, I Am Not Afraid of You and I Will Beat Your ***. There is a song called "Mr Tough" that is Beach Boys-ish. Find a sample online. I hope that's it.
