HP. Dell starts you with only a 90-day warranty. They trick you with their cheap starting prices, but nickel and dime you into an extremely overpriced computer.

HP products are sold everywhere. You can basically only get Dell at one place. You have to go straight to Dell to get support, while many retail locations are Authorized HP Service Centers.

Actually neither since they are about the same. It's a custom built or a local computer store built is the better computer.
And, btw, you're link is for PRINTERS. Dell does NOT make printers, they are lexmark printers with a dell sticker on them.

Both are good. I suspect complaints are made by people who overstep their abilities and mess up. Some things are better left to the pros.

Personally, I think one is as good as the other.
