No, Zune's, without the proper hacks isnt able to preform as a storage device. Maybe the New zunes will have more options, I own a Zune and love it. Much easier dealing with mp3's and easy to convert my DVD's to .wmv to add my dvd collection the the Zune

Of course not. ipod don't have the wi-fi feature, so it doesn't work on ipods. Only to other Zunes. That's why I like Zunes a bit more better.

Neither really functions as an independant storage disk, so you can't transfer files without using a medium (a computer) and converting the file formats. So no, you can't
