I hate NBA refs they call fouls that are not fouls and what is a rookie foul? that is some b.s. NBA refs suck I think some of these Refs are paid off. David Stern you suck!!!!!!!

Hell yeah! They are freakin awful! I have come to have a hard time enjoying pro basketball because officials either regulate the game with their personal attitudes towards certain players, or tailor the game to where the outcome that is best for the marketability for the NBA takes place. For example, When Dallas played San Antonio in the Western Conference finals last year, it was always a close game in the fourth, but the deeper in the fourth quarter each game got, the less whistles the Spurs got. Of course there are no controversial personalities on the Spurs, but the topic of choice in all the sports media was how much money the league would lose with the Spurs going to the finals because San Antonio is not a "true NBA market" and how it would be so much better for ratings if the Finals rotated between Dallas and Miami becuase of the market size and star power.
Whether people accept it or not, the officials were sucked into that and swallowed their whistles on a couple of key occasions to give the Mavs an extra push. Think about it! You got two great teams getting after each other and the lead story is not about anything concerning the game.............its about profit loss because of a potential hosting market? What the hell is that? But the players are taking the integrity out of sports!? Its no longer about the players or who is the best team, its about money and that is truly sad. You're right. I called Stern an @#*hole in one of my other comments.
But that's just what I think.

I agree I just watched the Lakers Kings game and Kobe Got foul on the play late in the game and they didn't call it a foul and another play he was fouled and they called it a jump ball yeah I agree NBA refs suck and I think David Stern is an undercover racist.

Ya NBA refs suck. If Kobe Bryant misses a shot, someone is automatically called for a foul. Thats why he scored 81 points. He missed around 900 shots but everytime he missed he went to the foul line. But at the same time if a rookie or unknown player gets clocked in the face by kobe and loses some teath.....no foul.

It's the players that suck, not the refs. The players are the punk street-ballers that play in the NBA, but don't want to play in the NBA by the rules. The only thing I fault the refs for is NOT nailing travelling when it happens. Some of these guys travel more than santa claus on christmas eve.

I totally agree with you because it seems like that is exactly what it is. Every time since 2004 when Detroit Pistons won the Refs have been not fair with the Pistons throughout the season and especially during the playoffs.

Well when you watch a basketball game and you want your team to win and the ref makes a bad call against the opposition you don't care but when a bad call gets called against your team you care.

They can suck, yeah. But there nowhere near as bad as refs you get at say a high school level...refs at that level are just terrible in general.

I thinkt they suck They make unfair calls like Carmelo hitting the 3 in Dallas when he got fouled by Antionio Wright So yeah they suck!!!!!!!!!
