Forget about naming them "Scouts" sounds ridiculus... And what about their new colors? Or just keep it simple and just be the Kansas City Penguins? ...and please no more animals lol (Panthers, Predators, Wild, Sharks, Ducks, Thrashers, Coyote)

Gotta go with the "Scouts" again. It was a decent logo, however I would change the color scheme. Maybe.

Too bad they will become an obscure team in the Western Conference.

If they do move to KC, I had heard a theory that the Penguins name and logo would be retired and the Penguins would become the Scouts (the former NHL team in KC).

As far as if a hockey team can succeed in KC, I think they can. But if the team isn't good, they're not going to get as many fans. Although, a player like Sidney Crosby is bound to bring in fans.

I honestly dont think they are going, They used KC to pressure the PA politicians into a sweetheart deal. BUT if they do go I hope like hell they keep the name Penguins and the jersey's/colors.Cause while i'll be pissed about them leaving there is no way my *** isnt getting center ice to Watch them. Also people here are saying the city will keep the name ala when the browns left Cleveland, Why? Aint no way the NHL is coming back if we let the Pens leave.

Not sure about the name, but the colors will change if they moved to KC. They would be red, white and some yellow, like the chiefs, or blue and white like the Royals. Black and Gold are Pittsburgh colors. How about the Kansas City Keggers.

If the Penguins were to move to KC I think they should just have a fan vote like the Predators did when they came into the league.

i don't think they will be moving, Mario Lemieux emerged from a "very positive" meeting with Gov. Ed Rendell and local leaders Thursday night without hinting whether the team will stay or move to Kansas City. he was smiling ear to ear and he didn't say anything about the meeting but by the looks of it, it was good. they should stay in Pittsburgh they've been around since 1967 and there fans deserves a team. even though i would love them to move to Canada but not like this but it will really piss me off if they do move to KC just because Gary Bettman scared off Basillie's offer of the table cause he knew that Basillie would of moved the team to Canada if Isles Capri didn't get their votes in. Gary Bettman will do everything in his powers to keep the team in the U.S and he doesn't even care if they stayed or had to move out of Pittsburgh as long as the team stayed in the U.S.

I would love to see the Penguins move to KC but for their own sakes hope they move to Canada, since they would get a lot more support and fan base there than in the USA, sorry to say.

Go Blues!

Why does "Scouts" sound ridiculous? It's not "Boy Scouts"...it refers to Native American Scouts who helped open up the West. Look at the old logo.

KC Monarchs. Why not use the old ***** League Baseball team's name? It's cool.
