How do I see archived/saved MSN/Windows Live Messenger messages on my comp?

thanks mazp, I tried that but there's noting there - I know that I have archives on my comp cos I found someone reading them - they closed it before I could see where they were stored. :( Any other suggestions?

My Documents> My Received Files>(youraccountandmanynumbers)

Open that folder and each file inside says the mail of contact and it will list all conversations you have with that contact
