Report him to yahoo or try going through your local authorities. BUT also realize that YOU as a mother have the responsibility of monitoring your minor child in EVERYTHING she does.. and that does include on line chatting. If your not holding up your end by checking on her and what she is doing then these things will happen. I sincerely hope that you are not naive enough to think that just because she is on line that she is safe from the pedophiles of the world. If so then wake up and realize that everyday more and more children are being lured in by these people on line. Step up to the plate, don't be a friend to your daughter be a mother and take responsibility.

You didn't say how old the "Married Man" is, I presume he
is over 18 or 21. When you say soliciting, if you mean
specific sexual solicitation of a minor via the internet, I am sure that it is not only a clear and flagrant violation of any Internet service rules, but also a criminal violation. You are indicating in seems that an adult male (married-which is the lesser of the issues); is sexually soliciting or exploiting a female minor child using the internet as a medium. This requires notification to not only any and all internet companies involved; but I would contact
my Local police department if it was my daughter.
Good luck!

Take it to your police department and also report it to Yahoo ASAP. It is unfortunate that people prey on our children but your situation is very touchy. In some places the age 17 is considered legal to consent to sex but not old enough to be declared an adult. It's a catch 22 situation really! I would still report it to whoever would listen! Good Luck!

If your daughter told him that she is 18 or older, there is sadly nothing you can do. If she HAS told him she's only 17, you could e-mail him and tell him to stop contacting your daughter-she is a minor and that if he does not stop, you will contact the authorities. Follow through on this, it's nothing to mess around with. Also make sure your daughter has not given out your address, phone number, last name, etc. He can easily find her with any of this information! Kudos to you for being an involved parent!! You should be proud of yourself! Good luck and best wishes!

17 year old daughter should be old enogh to fend for herself. If she has chosen to keep this online relation, then she is keeping it alive regardless how old the guy is.
It takes two to chat sweety.
She does know what ignore means;I assume at least she does, so tell her not to hit the panic button...hit the eject button instead, ignore that bum and move on.

You call 911 and report his criminal ***. They will handle it. Of course, depending upon what state you are in, there may be nothing they can do, but they may go ahead and put his email out there for the feds if they think he's a ped. Worth a try.

Call the cops, have them have a locator on him, where he lives, report it to yahoo. Press charges for $5,000 to $250,000. Or you may want to put him on a court show like Judge Judy, or Judge Joe Brown, by going to judgejudy.com or go to judgejoebrown.com
Have him embarrassed and put him on TV and submit your case on one of those court shows.

There must be someone you can report him to. Do you have proof ?? Scumbags like him prey on young girls, it gives them their jollies. They are obnoxious people who make my skin crawl. I wish you lots of luck in catching and stopping this creep. As a mother and grandmother it worries me no end that these sorts of predators lurk around preying on young innocent girls.
