hit up a Finish Line or a similar athletic retailer...but Finish Line for fact has the BEST shoe cleaner EVER; not only is it affordable, but it is easy to use and works super fast..The product is called SOF SOLE Instant Cleaner...here is a link of what it is:

Try Kiwi Shoe Whitener. It makes the shoes really super white. I got mine at Fred Meyer and I know you can get it at a lot of other stores too. It's inexpensive and works great!

do you mean like, for an arts and crafts kind of thing? if so, you can find plain white shoes at walmart or zellers for really cheap, or you can buy some white chuck taylors. it's pretty much a blank canvas, so you can do pretty much whatever, but fabric paints work the best.

just use shout! I picked up this little trick a few months ago. just spray shout on a wash rag and rub the shoes!
