Ok I have this friend who is soooooooo super afraid of dogs and cats. I have both and when she comes to my house even if one of them is like 6 feet away she will scream at the top of her lungs and breakdown and start crying untill I do something. I always have to put my pets in the basement or outside for a really long time but I feel so bad about it. I always tell her to just pet my cat or my dog but she says no. She says that she is scared of them just becuase she is. It is really hard because my grandma works 2 jibs so she comes to my house to eat something, nap and take some coffee and go. She is always tired and falls asleep right away. and then my friend screams super loud and I get inti trouble. I understand that she doesn't like my animals but I think it is way above the top with all the jumping on chairs and screaming crap. I am getting into trouble becuz of it. what should I do?

I think seeing a therapist about this will help her face her fears.

I think shes way over reacting in my opinon, tell her that if she really is that scared to go get some help. You shouldn't have to put you're animals outside or down the basement for a long time, i mean if she is just there for an hour or two that's no big deal. Did she ever get bit or something?

Your friend has severe phobias, and should get treatment for them, but that is not your problem or your business.
It is your business if she is waking your grandma from a much needed rest.
Explain to your friend that you need her not to make noise when your grandma is there. Tell her that if she can't stay quiet, she can't stay at your place when grandma is there. Say that you understand that she is scared of animals, but your grandma has problems too, so you will have to compromise. It's not that you don't value her friendship, but you have to consider your grandma. Maybe you can go to her place sometimes.

Tell your friend that there is no reason to be afraid of something that cannot harm you. Mention that their screaming is causing you trouble and that if they have a problem, don't go to your house anymore.

I think your friend is crazy and you should get rid of her. Who screams when a harmless dog is just standing far away from you? She's a mental patient and needs to be put down.

If she isn't willing to try to change, sounds like she is doing it for attention more than anything. Don't invite her over when your grandma is home and tell your friend why.
