I have a special needs daughter that needs lots of extra help. My mother in law is a complete invalid and is still in her home, my husband and his brother and a caretaker care for her. I fill in when I'm not working part time when her caretaker is sick (which is often). My mother this week just had a stroke and her left side is paralyzed. She'll need a nursing home since I can't lift her and I have to work, but I'm not sure she has enough money for it.
And I just had a hysterectomy and I'm not recovered from it totally. I'm feeling very down right now. But I can't cry, why I wonder.......Some people have it worse. Guess it's like the man who felt sorry for himself 'cause he had no shoes, then he saw a man who had no feet....

Absolutely. I have to take time to be alone when I get to the point of feeling this way. I try to give myself an attitude adjustment by realizing things could be so much worse.

yes...when i was sick a few days ago, i thought i dont wanna go through today..speed up time, go back in time..something cuz i cant take anymore.
id lay down in bed, go to the bathroom, sit out in the living room, watch tv..lay down...it would start all over again. i just got so tired of laying in bed then after a while i couldnt sit. i was hoping moving would make me feel better. its almost like i had jumping beans in my pants.

I can always distract myself so that I can handle the day thinking of something nonstressful...
I am actually in a very stressful situation as we speak and it is tearing me to pieces but I am distracting myself with Y/A

I think so too!!! It just makes you want to go outside and scream at the top of your lungs!! Especially if it's a situation you can't change and you don't know how to fix it.

Try to imagine how life is for the very poor, the starving and the very ill and then tell me how hard it is for you. Just think how lucky you are. Attitude is everything.
