Anything by Mel Brooks, Blazing Saddles, Airplane, Monty Python 'The Meaning of Life', High Anxiety, Back to School, Easy Money...the list goes on and on. But the 70's and 80's had some of the best comedies of all times. The stuff today is an homage to the classics.

A Thousand Clowns - very funny lines but semi-serious story. Tops !
Big deal On Madonna Street - classic '50s European comedy

All At Sea - another old classic European w/Alec Guiness

Any of the Marx Bros. films - be prepared to laugh yourself silly. Fast paced multi-faceted comedy
