have a beer? I mean seriously? I know that its the drinking and driving thing that probably fuels this, but hell, they are legal....

It's because if drinking and driving, they dont want amatuer drivers becoming amatuer drinkers at the same time. should be 16 to drink and 21 to drive...

I drank like a fish when I was 18 and quite when I turned 21, what's the point when it's legal.

No it is not right, but it at least gives people leaving their teens a taste of the inequality of the world that awaits them.

No, it's just too easy to get the alcohol into high schools that way. The teenagers did it to themselves.
