i saw that they are having Snake from the Metal Gear Solid games on the new smash brothers on the Wii console. does anyone know if this means there might be plans to put new MGS games on the wii? or is smash brothers going to be the only feature of Snake on the Wii?

mr Kojima has addressed this question before in his interview; He has said that MGS will be solely on PlayStation console.
He has no interest in exporting the game to other consoles.
Although MGS on wii will certainly be a very interesting game play, the graphic might be a major concern for MGS. I mean, MGS is also famous for its top notch graphic.
perhaps, MGS will be on wii 3 or 4 when the console has a graphic engine update.

I think Solid Snake will appear on a Wii game besides Brawl, but it's probably not going to be any of the Metal Gear games. It's probably going to be a different Metal Gear game, much like Portable Ops on the PSP, or it could be a brand new game or series.
Kojima asked that Snake be included in the Brawl game, and Kojima has said that he's very excited about the Wii and what it can do, so I'm sure he's going to make a game for the Wii, whether or not it's the Metal Gear game is yet to be determined.
