The emblem is made up of little red dots and I don't recognize it. If other people have the same changes to both their Google and Wikipedia emblems, then I guess those companies are just posting the same ones. Otherwise, I think it's odd and ... well, I'm not an IT person, but it sounds fishy.

Sounds fishy to me, too - they are different for me, and the same as they were a few weeks ago. A G thing for Google and a W thing for Wikipedia. I don't see any red dots...
Maybe you should remove them and add them back? or try visiting the pages? I've noticed that emblems get mixed up sometimes and then fixed when I visit the site.

Must be only on that brand of PC. Wiki on mine has a Roman script "W"
