How to clean the underarms that have become dark from the shaving?

I have shaved my underarms for god knows how long, but they have started to become dark. I just realized how bad they were when I was wearing a tube top with my arms raised at a 180 degree angle and I HATE it! Please tell me the remedies you have tried and are true.

I have tried using skin lotion with alora vera to shave my armpits and this has worked for me.

Removing Dark Black Patches From Your Underarms

1 tomato, sliced
water, as required

1.To remove dark patches from your underarms (which occur for some people when they remove the underarm hair and make them really upset about it), all you got to do is rub a slice of tomato vigorously on the area of the patch.
2.Leave it on overnight.
3.You may have to do this twice a day depending on how dark the patch is.
4.During the day you may leave it on for 1 hour.
5.It helps to cleanse out the dark skin and shrink the pores

rub some peroxide into some baking soda and make a paste. Then rub it on the skin like a lotion. Rinse thoroughly. Or, you could use pure lemon juice. That also will bleach the skin. But, after shaving, it might not feel that great. But, it worked for my daughter. I may try it........or not.

well its just b/c the hair is so dark and most likely you are light skinned and so you can still see the hair underneath the transparent skin under your arms...its not a big problem A LOT of people have it! I DO

What do you mean they get dark from shaving? How do they get dark from shaving?

Mine don't. I have been shaving many years.
