Glasspacks are the loudest "legal" muffler on the road. In my personal opinion, unless you're pulling a horse trailer or hauling hay, buy a turbo muffler or a flowmaster. The sound is much deeper and gives a distinct powertone rather than the whiny pop of a glasspack. Yet if you insist on glasspacks, the shorter they are, the louder they are.

If you want a really loud muffler, build one, lol, take a hollow driveshaft, cut it into a 24 inch piece weild onto the pipe, it might be too loud though. the metal used in driveshafts makes the noise echo like crazy, and if you want the classic sound of the glasspack, weild on on in front of the new "muffler"

your neighbors must hate you. I would install a regular or high flow muffler and route the tip of the pipe to face down, onto the road. They make tips that you screw on that do this, this way if you decide you don't waant that kind of sound, you can take it off anytime.

If its a straight pipe already a glaspack would not make it any louder.
