God Save the King/Queen is a patriotic hymn, and the national anthem of the United Kingdom. It is also one of the two national anthems of New Zealand, and the royal anthem of Canada, Australia, and other Commonwealth Realms, as well as the anthem of the British Royal Family. When the monarch is male, it is "God Save The King". "God Save The King" (or "... Queen") is also the royal anthem (but not the national anthem) of Norway, sung there in Norwegian. Its use at state events in Great Britain was one of the first examples of a nation adopting a hymn as a national anthem.
There is no single authorized version of the song; indeed, the anthem has never been officially adopted by royal proclamation nor act of parliament.

God save the Queen. This is UK's answer to God save our President. The Queen is supreme in the UK. and you should abide by the Queens answer. I dont always abide or agree with our president of the US. So what is the answer? THere isnt one.unless you move out of your country. You either move,, take a stand, in your country. THere's really nothing we can do take it or leave it.

God save Our Gracious Queen....Long to reign over us, God save The Queen.
The National Anthem is a hymn, the word Anthem means sacred song to God.
It seems to be working well!

Why save her, what about everybody else, like those who work for a living, those who know what suffering is all about, how about those who have none, or little money, those who never know where the next meal is coming from, The queen hasn't got a clue of real life.

Absolutely. A most upstanding, righteous, dutious, stable secure figure in these insecure, frivolous, terror-ridden times. She is a treasure of stability.
Long live the Queen.!!!!
