Anti-Semitism is a very controversial issue . If one has a dislike for Jewish people and their ways they are quickly branded anti-Semites. If one has great appreciation and respect for Jewish people and their faith they are called
Philo-Semites. I'm not sure why it is that they even have this distinction as no other religion has this "your either with us or your against us" attitude but I think that if Jews are going to brand people as either Anti-Semites or Philo-Semites they are only showing that they have a propensity to be prejudicial and discriminatory against people of other faiths which is just as bad as being racist.

Any group that is racial vilified will think they have it the worst, so don't put too much faith in anyone person's opinion, especially when they have vested interests.
Also as others have stated Black isn't a race, whereas Jews are both a race & religion (due to the fact that to be a jew, your mother has to be jewish & conversions aren't that easy & converted jews may not be considered fully Jewish in some circles).

Anti-semitism has a bit of a longer and different history. Racism against blacks is also very serious and goes back a long ways, but they are not really the same. But I also wouldn't say one is worse than the other.

anti what now? waht you crazy crackers talking about? Jews have this unique position where they are a culture or religion and a race. Although; People are converting to faiths left and right, intermarrying, one could argue that there's no real jewish race as it is understood. so the difference is that it is religious intolerance, which is just as bad but a slightly different beast than racial intolerance.

anti-blackism? how eloquently coined.... anyway....
Yes its different. Is anti-blackism vs a religion? no.. is it versus a country... no its anti color of someones skin.
Hating someone for any of those reasons is wrong of course.
But I see anti-semitism as a more deep seated hatred that is hatred for religion and ethnic origin both.
And no im not jewish.
edit: .02 people who are from Israel are generally jewish.. that is a race. so go back to school.

1. Black-ism isn't a word.
2. Jews are both a race and religion. Judaism is the religion commonly practiced by the Jewish people.

The thing is that African Americans had slavery, sure it was bad, but Jews had been slaves several times also, but there was the Holocaust! 6 Million Jews murdered, and this happened in the last century.

No. All rasism is rasism and this question is ignorant. There is no way for you to assume what all Jewish people feel or not.
