i am feeling little cramps that feel like i am about to start my period anyday now but there are not painful to where i need to take medication or anything... So how long do these little cramps last untill they actually get hella strong to where i cant take it anymore? will these cramps just end up going away or is this the signs of the start of labor and i just continue to have these little cramps until they get strong?any advise on how to speed things up to make the contraction start to hurt and get stronger?

Definatly sounds like the start of labour, thats how mine started, but if you are in early labour,it could last up to two days, for me the pain started in the middle of the night, and by the evening i was in the hospital,clean...the time flies when you clean, get everything tidy in the nursery...dust,mop etc.

congradulations!!!!:)

You are prob starting labor--especially if you rmembranes were stripped--congrats!!! Just keep timing them. When they are 10 minutes apart call you Doc--or if they seem unbearable--even if over 10 minutes apart. I have had 4 kids--with the last I drank raspberry tea--all natural--which sped things up. I hope you opted for an epidural--I had my first natural--but a much better experience when the pain wasn't there. Just remember to bear down as long as you can--just like when you are constipated--sorry but most woman think you will expell from somewhere else but the baby is pushing on your colon--you should be able to feel the baby move down--Listen To Your Own Body--not the nurses or docs--God Bless!!!

get ready sweetheart!! if this is your first (and i'm guessing it is) it'll take a while. my advice to you is to eat something...you will get absolutely nothing to eat at the hospital until baby is born and it will be a while and you will get hungry. i'd also walk around and try to be as active as possible and keep VERY close eye on a clock with a second hand so you can accurately keep track of the "cramp" feelings. when the contractions start to get closer together (whatever you and ur doctor discussed) then call ur doctor and get to the hospital. i would reccomend hanging out at home for as long as you feel comfortable. once you get to the hospital, you are going to get much more anxious and will find it hard to relax and that's what you need to do now. it'll be great!! good luck!!

getting my membranes stripped sent me into labor as soon as they did it, but it's different for everyone. if the pains you are having are regular and are 5 minutes or less apart you need to go to the hospital. the safest thing to try to speed things up is nipple stimulation.
