yes, they even lets use actual art studios. Also we used the real art products, not the cheap stuff. We had ceramics 1-3, painting 1-2, 3-d design, drawling 1-2, photography 1-2. they also has this advance class that only certain people could take, I was luck enough to get into the independent program. I took them all but photography.

The art program in my high school was not particularly impressive. I suppose it was the main art teacher. When I was younger, most art classes did not focus on basic painting or drawing skills. Mostly we worked with easy to do crafts or clay work.
In high school, the art teacher seemed impatient with those students who were not that good at drawing or painting, even though most of the students were not taught this in their earlier years. My high school was small and this particular teacher was it for the art program. If your work did not represent what he thought were good art subjects (Cowboys and Indians type stuff), he wasn't to receptive.
