I use to be a cashier in a store and an older senior guy knew I had a kid but no husband so he would always ask how I was and how my kid was for months. He walked in one day and handed me cash. Told me he didn't have any kids and he was never married and that I have been so nice to him. I tried to tell him no but he just insisted. Told me to make sure I buy diapers and food but also a toy for the little one. Found out he died a two weeks later.

I'm in a wheelchair and several times strangers have stopped and helped my out of various situations over the years. It's funny though African Americans are about twice as apt to stop as white people. I wonder why???

unlike most these sleeze bags...I was pushed out of way of a max train... the monorail transportation in Portland... Oregon. I was scared and a little shaken. I had tripped off the curb by a bicyclist.

One time I fell off my bike and a few neighbors(I didn't know them at the time, I was little) helped me up and asked me if I was okay. I had scraped my knee, but in all okay. And other times people have held doors for me and I've held doors for others.

I dropped some money and this stranger ran after me to hand it to me. It was $20 so it wasn't just pocket change and so I gave him half for his generosity.

I got lost on the beach when I was a little girl. A lady helped me find my parents. It was a very dangerous situation, but she was very kind and helpful.

An older gentleman at Costco bought my son a big stuffed alligator because he was wanting it & there was no way I was buying it, so he bought it & gave it to my son. It was funny & that thing was around for years!!
