I hate receiving gifts!!! It is very akward for me...even if I get them something. First of all...if I give them one, it's because it was expected (birthday, Christmas, etc.) Since I have that idea when buying gifts I feel that it was a bother for them to get me a gift also. Also...I just have never been one to be like "oh...I love it..it's so cute" (even if I really do like it) so it may give the person the wrong impression.....also..if I don't like it I am never sure how to act to not show that. Presents are a waste of money because I usually don't like it.

Yes. When I'm financially not able to give someone a nice gift, I'll at least try to make them a cake (birthday), or some other baked or cooked goods. If time is short, then I at least buy them a card.

OH MY GOD YES. I feel so bad when that happens but I make sure not to forget that person birthday or at Christmas and get them something a little extra special

Yea and very awkward.. but I would give them back something later or else everytime I see the person, I'll feel guilty
