Its possible, but I know there is a demand for more people willing to adopt black babies since black couple do not adopt as much as whites. I saw it on TV, but I cannot recall which show.

It happened in my school back in the 70's. A wonderful black couple adopted my friend, Shirley and her older sister who were white. They were a wonderful family.

Yes it does. My friend's mom did, she adopted both brother and sister.

At first the kids were very resistant, but now when we remind them of all the crazy things they used to do, they hardly believe it. lol

I'm sure it does, we just don't hear of it. I know an elderly Black man who adopted a Korean young boy. He made sure that the young man was exposed to his ethnic and cultural heritage traditions, celebrations, etc.

of course it does! i myself was informally adopted at age 13 by a black man.. i currently live northeast alabama, and i've seen at least 3 families so far since i moved here in june of 2006, that are comprised of white children with black mommies and daddies, and they seem to be very well adjusted families(have only met them all once)

Yes it does happen. However it doesnt matter that the child might be of a different ancestry, people on their right mind would take the first child they see in need.

This is a good and fair question if I ever saw one. The answer is yes, one of my aunts did and I have to tell you, everyone loves this kid.
