yes I have and still do.
Thumbs up adds points to your best answer. So if I got 5 thumbs up and was chosen best answerer, I get 15 points. No, the points don't mean anything except you don't have a life outside of yahoo answers, so I was told.

Thumbs up give you extra points if your answer is chosen as the best one. One point for each thumb up. Thumbs down do nothing.
I do check it sometimes.
Now, because of this question, I'm sure people will be checking. ;)

Nope, I never thought of it. I'm not really interested in how other people judge me. I'm my own judge. Unless they judge my answer as best answer I don't pay any attention.
