Infrared is way of communicating with other devices (exchanging files). To use it first find where its located then find the way to enable it in your cellphone (explained in your cellphone manual most likely)
If you are going to receive files align your infrared port with the other cellphone's and wait for the transfer to be completed
For sending look for the file, then in options or something like that send> via infrared - same aligning procedure- and now you know how to use infrared!
