In order to back up my point of view for a debate as well as a speech I need actual stories of victims of recidivism or repeat offenders. Any crime but I had only been able to find one site with a bunch of them in one place but I lost the web address and have been unsuccessful with my feverish searching for it or one again for the past 4 days. Please help. I'm so frustrated and about to accept a bad grade on it instead of taking in this frustration. Please don't bash me with saying I should do my own research because I have for 3 weeks. Even if you can not find anything on the web a story you just know will be just a good. Please include Web address if possible. Thank you SO much!

The statistics speak for themselves! Why would you WANT to hear about a tragedy?? Recidivism has its roots in addiction, and inappropriate ways of handling pain in a person's life. These people are seriously broken! And the sad fact is that we aren't anywhere close to a support system that can have a chance at rehabilitating them. This is one of the greatest tragedies of our time.
Take the poor grade and stand up for decency in the face of pathos.

I have a distant cousin who lives in the Texas Penal System. I will not give his name to protect his idenity. This person was convicted of a crime at approximately 18 years old and has spent the last 35 years in and out of prison. He will tell you it is easier on the inside because you get 3 meals aday a place to sleep and not have any real decisions to make. Being in prison is easier than living in the free world because you have to work and pay bills, in prison you really do not have any bills.
I hope this help you with your project.
