I've re listed this question in a more general area.

People want to be quick to say, that buying drugs supports terrorism, George Bush supports terrorism, and many other things we do on a daily basis supports terrorism, but Ebay is such a high traffic market place, that you can make a ton of money on. Would it be irresponsible to neglect the thought that maybe terrorists are selling goods on Ebay to fund there doings? And if you knew you were would you still buy?

Well, to putthings in perspective you can have a terrorist working anywhere.

eBay tries to eliminate crime/fraud by having people rate the sellers and goods.

I assume they try to maje sure items listed are legal. In cases where illegal goods are involved the authorites have all the info they require to go after the buyer and seller.

Obvioulsy if i knew a business was supporting crime or worse terrorism i would not buy.

That said, can a terrorist be involvedi legit businesses? Of course. I may have accidentally bought from a business thst benefited a terrorist. Geez, Terrorists can buy mutual funds so EVERY MAJOR corporation's profit probably contribures a small profit to some terrorist organizations.

FORTUNATELY I PAY TAXES. MY TAXES PAY FOR PEOPLE WHO do their best to try and track terrorist money and to go after terrorist organizations as part of the effort by most allied countries to prevent attrocities like 9/11, oklahoma, Bali, etc, etc.

More of my money goes towards fuighting terror than hekping it,

In terms of eBay. My experience with it has been mostly POSITIVE. I mean their technical support is the WORST on the internet and shipping is often an issue for low volume cheap items but most sellers are legit and eBay pays taxes that support some of the BEST intelligence agencies in the world as do many sellers in the US. In short, I believe the CIA, FBI, and Homeland Security guys get MORE money from eBay than their adverseries do.
