Zero multiplied by infinity is one. When you divide 1 by 0.1 you get 10; 0.000000001 you get 1 billion. So as the divisor gets closer to 0, the result gets bigger and eventually reaches infinity when the divisor reaches 0. 1/0=Infinity, multiply 0 to both sides, 1/0*0=infinity *0. 1*0/0=1=0*Infinity.

Yeah, as the other poster suggested, this is a famous integral, let x= y^2, dx = 2y dy and x^{-1/2} = 1/y, so we have e^{-x} dx / sqrt{x} = e^{-y^2} 2y / y dy = 2 e^{-y^2} dy where you integrate from 0 < y < infinity This integral is the same as Gamma(1/2) = sqrt{pi} where Gamma is the Gamma function (look it up). If you want to solve this integral analytically, it is really easy. The trick is to let I = integral e^{-y^2} dy then seek the value of the square of the integral I^2 = { integral e^{-y^2} dy}^2 it should be straightforward from there, but if you have further questions google "gaussian integral" (what this is called). No reason why we have to walk through it for you given how famous (and well-known) the integral solution is.

You can't multiply anything by infinity.. it's not a number, it's just a concept.

You are flawed in saying

"infiniti x 1 = infiniti,

and your question is also flawed =D

It is zero

And the person that said your question is flawed that infinity doesn't exist is wrong. Infinity is used very often in higher math (calculus and above). I know I have worked with it many times myself. So infinity is a quantity, it is just an infinitly large quantity.

In either case you have zero.
