Look for your local Social Security Administration office. They are in larger towns/cities. You will have to provide a birth certificate and other ID for her.....you can check on line for what you need to bring. It can also be done by mail still. Easy.

Any office any state. Social Security is Federal.

You can get one in any office, just be sure and have her birth certificate, and her SS# (if possible).

You just have to have her birth certificate and a photo id of her like a school id, sometimes you dont even need to have that just the birth certificate!
