This is automotive related. I heard if you installed a new distributor ignition system, you have to stab the distributor. I don't how to do it, please help me!

The purpose of this operation is to install the distributor such that it is engaged to the camshaft.
The trick is to get #1 cylinder in the TDC position. This can be accomplished by either lining up the timing mark (not easy) or looking at the valve positions for #1 cylinder.

advanced mechanical knowledge is needed to stab (install) a distributor . the only way to help you is to refer you to a mechanic.
