What is it about men that people think we don't want or need privacy?

This never used to be allowed. They actually kicked up a fuss about it and lobbied for female reporters to be let into men's locker rooms citing that it gives male reporters an unfair advantage over female reporters.

If men tried to do anything like this we'd instantly be labelled as perverts and the fact that we were trying would be used as cause to instate more unequal policy.

See, feminists' idea of equality is pick and choose. Completely hypocritical.

It is not OK to allow women into men's locker rooms. It is a form of both sexual discrimination and the 'tort' of assault at common law. Gender politicians (feminists) argue that because men are born of women we males have nothing that the women have not already seen, whereas women do not have anything that can be seen. But men have rights to privacy too! If a female reporter walked into a room full of naked men who would be expected to have the "outraged" reaction? I have seen women use a male toilet "because i needed to go" yet a man would be a sick pervert if he entered the "ladies room". Enough of the double standards. If You find something to be offensive stand up for Your rights and demand that justice be done!

Because a woman can be in a roomful of naked men without forgetting why she came. Most men would be hard pressed to do this if the situation were reversed. Most men appear to need less privacy than women and are less concerned about who sees them naked or unflatteringly dressed. I think that is because most men think they look pretty good or at least average. Women tend to believe that they don't measure up to some standard or other. I think the line of male reporters trying to get into the women's locker room would be longer than the line of female reporter outside the mens'. You are right though it is not equitable and therefore, not fair. Single mothers are the largest poverty group in this country. That is not fair either. Wanna trade?

There's a lot of good answers given, and I really can't add anything to explain it better.

All I can add is a bit of a brutally honest viewpoint:

If they do start letting men into women's locker rooms, I'm grabbing a pencil, paper and a press badge whether or not I can write any better than a 5 year old, and I'm getting in that real long line that will be forming....

Hmm, maybe that's the reason we're not allowed in.

for a similar reason that blacks could make jokes approximately white human beings day and and night with out absolutely everyone complaining yet a white individual asserting black fairly of african american ought to stand huge criticism. All it comes all the way down to is one team quicker or later or yet another confronted oppression or inequality and those communities had to combat for their equality and so absolutely everyone asserting something that may no longer of their want could lead them to ask your self what a persons' genuine intentions are (like is a individual criticizing the way some black human beings gown only making a fact on his style like and dislikes, or are they making a racist fact). Generalizing any team of people is incorrect, yet frequently situations generalization of a team that has been opressed is a sore concern for many. as some distance with the aid of fact the using element is going.... me (i'm a woman) and my my ultimate guy pal have in no way wrecked a motor vehicle, whilst my woman freind and her ultimate guy pal have the two totaled 2 autos a bite..... no longer that that proves something, even yet it made me snort to think of of that as I examine this.

I am one woman fo feels our liberation stops at the locker
room door. It is simply rediculous for men to try talk sensibly
to a female reporter in this private and all-male setting.
I think they should have kicked out the first woman reporter
who walked into the locker room to get her "report" .

Oh wait, that has nothing to do with the question that was posed. Try to stay on target, sweetheart.

Men are discriminated against in this society, and women will never admit(most). These are the issues that expose it for what it is.
