and does the government or any other group have the right to use DNA information of a person to discriminated against them? I want to know who my parents are darn it.

Well, since my cousin was adopted, ... (I only found out many years later cause my dad told my brither after my cousin grew up. His siblings were not adopted and his brother never had clue he was adopted)

I assume law requires consent of the parent and the child. If your birth parent has provacy issues i assume law respects that. If they are looking for you

Honesty tho, I do think its cool to see genetic simularites with famoily members and birt parents/siblings are interestinbg but i think if somebody adopted raised and nutured you, they are the REAL parents for you.

It takes 9 months to give birth and 18 years to raise some one and support them when they need you.

I wish you luck but hope you appreciate your "real" parents rather than the ones gave you your genes. Only exception would be rare case where adopted parents were a "bad match".

Birth or not, parents that dont love the kids they responsibke for are weird. (Woody allen reaaly wierd there by the way.)
