Does anyone watch both OC and Gray's Anatomy?

What I am wondering is when Summers dad left for Newport, he said that he was going to Seattle Grace Hospital to work. Is he going to be incorporated into Gray's Anatomy, or is this just a coincedence. I have been waiting for him to show up but am starting to wonder.
