Tinted moisturiser is moisturiser with just a hint of foundation in it. It's meant to replace your foundation, but it only gives you light coverage. If you're just looking to polish off your skin, then you should be able to find a tinted moisturizer for your skin type. You could also make your own by mixing a moisturizer and a little foundation in the palm of your hand and applying it. If you want more coverage or need to balanced out your skin or cover flaws, then you should try a straight foundation. And of course, be sure to cleanse and moisturize your skin before applying it.

as mentioned before, a tinited moisturizer is basically facial lotion with foundation in it. it usually have an spf of 15 or higher. if you just want to even out your skin tone and moisturize your skin, this is a cheap alternative (covergirl tm is $6) to loiton and foundation. however, if yo have discolorations/ acne/ undereye circles, you probably need more coverage. what i do is this: i mix my foundation and moisturizer in my hand (keep in mind that you need about half of what you would normally use, since you are mixing them). then i take a damp makeup sponge and smooth it over my face. then i use extra around my zits and undereye circles. voila!

Don't bother with them. The coverage leaves a lot to be desired. You are better off finding a moisturizer that works for you and adding your own favorite foundation to it. I just mix it up in my hand. A few drops of each.

a tinted moisturizer is a face lotion that has a little color in it. this gives light coverage, but also evens out skin tone. this is not for you if you want full coverage and have a lot of blemishes/acne.
