where are you going in rosarito? Most every hotel has a shuttle service and they get waved through the border crossing faster. It is worth it to spend your first night there at a hotel that offers the service then go do your camping or whatever.
Dont ride the public bus it takes forever and is very gross.

Hit the road for sure. Depending on where you are going in Rosarito, if you know it will be safe for you car, drive down there. Take the toll highway, its very pleasant, clean and quick. You should arrive in Rosarito within about 45 mis of crossing the boarder. Have fun!
