don't worry at ALL :)
when you first get your period, it can stay irregular for up to 2 years! some girls have it like every other month at first. or even every 3 months. don't worry if it doesn't come back for a little while. that's perfectly normal. just be prepared to get it unexpectedly.
always have some pads or tampons with you in your backpack/purse/whatever.
i'm 16 and my period just RECENTLY stopped being irregular. and i got mine when i was 13.
just don't stress out and don't worry at all :)

dont worry, i got my period when i was 12 and a half for the first time, then the second one came around 3 months after, then it started comming more normally but its still very messed, now im 14 and its STILL not predictable and monthly. sometimes a little before a month and sometimes its like around 40 days.
You have nothing to worry unless you've been doing some naughty things. I had a friend that had her second period after almost a year, usually the first period is just your body telling you to be emotionally ready, none of my friend's came in a month after their first period.
In conclusion just eat healthy and remember to bring a pad in your backpack and purse and wherever you go. Use a pad for your first few periods, not a tampon yet, im still scard to use one -_-. its embarrasing if someone find it so try to put it in pockets of your bag that isnt noticible. Good Luck!!! Having you're period means you're really starting to grow up.

It's really hard to say. Everyone's different. There is usually about a month in between each period but when I started I had three months in between my first two periods. The longer you've been having them, the more regular they'll be. If you're worried you can wear pantyliners so you'll be prepared for the next one. They're so thin, you can't even feel them.

The first few periods are usually irregular. I remember when I first started it was in January. I didn't get my second one until March. For the first year, I got my period every 19 to 21 days. I was glad when it finally went to 28 days.

Because you have just started this is completely normal, when I first got mine I didn't get another for like another 5 months, this is nothing to worry about, mine is regular now and I have only had it for like 2 years.Your body is going through new changes so it has to get used to this and work itself out. I know you might hear this from other people, but having your period sux, I don't hate it as much as other people do, but it's a real nuisance.

In time. Yeah, I know I'm not a girl but I just thought you should hear this. My friend got her first period at 12. The only thing is, she didn't get her second one until almost a year later. She's regular now. You're just going through changes and it won't all mesh together at first.

The first six months to a year of starting menses is very erratic for most females.
Speak with your school nurse about maybe keeping a sanitary pad or something in her office for emergencies. ...(She may keep them for the students anyway, but check to be sure).
A lot of females get a "period zit" which is a reddish zit that pops up and tends to show up just before your period starts. I would talk about this, too, with the school nurse.
Best of everything!

Sometimes when you're first starting, it can be a while before the next one. Mine were eight months apart. After that, they were every month.
If you're very athletic, it may take a little longer between periods.
Ask your mom, or an older sister how far apart theirs were. Your cycle may be like theirs.

You can't really tell when you just begin. It will be irregular for a while. You may not get in for 2 months, or you may get it next week, its kind of hard to tell. It takes a while to get on a regular cycle.
