I have blue-grey-green eyes, and blond hair. How do I keep from being labled a prep? I can't stand it!?

I'd dye my hair, but my skin is so pale that it would look really bad. I need some ideas hear. I sick of being stereo typed on my looks

Hair color and eye color have NOTHING to do with being stereo-typed. What stereo types you as a preppy is the type of clothes you have on and how you are wearing them. So stop tucking in your shirts, if you wear Polo shirts--STOP Get some nice T-shirts with Prints on them and grunge up a pair of jeans. You don't have to wear dirty clothes but just a different type/style.

I don't know why you feel so bad about yourself, I really don't think that you are a prep. actually I like green eyes with blond hair, don't get so desperate, some people just say things about you because they are jealous. Try not to sum up just the bad things about you but also the good things, looks aren't everything after all.

people perceive you they way you let them.....if that makes sense to you. If you dress like a bum then you are viewed obviously as a bum.....therefore if you dress like a prep then you will look like a prep. It has nothing to do with your hair or eye color....it's the clothes and the way you carry yourself.

ps. don't ever care about what people think of you unless it is something extremely negative and untrue, and even then you sometimes can not change peoples opinions of you, and you have to be happy with yourself.

if you don't dress like a prep, you shoudn't be called a prep. you were just born with your great eye color (i have the same color) and hair color (i like blonde hair. my best freind has blonde hair and she is gorgeous) and you shouldn't be stereotyped for that. i guess the average prep just has that eye color and hair color and you unfortuantely got it. just keep yourself the way you are because you don't need to change to fit the environment, they need to change to fit you. i don't even know what i am talking about anymore. sorry!! i hope this helps.

your hair color and eyes have nothing to do with you being labeled a prep. in fact you are more likely to be labeled a calfornia girl if you want to be more precise. everybody thinks we california girls are all blonde with blue eyes.

if you don't want to be a prep, which there is nothing wrong with that. I am one. stop dressing like one. no more khaki pants, polo shirts, etc.

I extremely have green eyes and brown hair (whilst it isnt dyed black) yet i admire blue and grey eyes, i purely like black hair whilst its dyed, and that i admire crimson heads! brunettes are ok, and blondes are advantageous too :)

i will say of course not to ever worrie, when you get older it will not matter, trust me. but if you really want to do something try skateboarding. you would be suprized how accepting skaters are to all kind of looks. i hung out with skaters when i was younger and som are even kind of prepy some are kind of jocks and somewhere down right goth. but i still say as you get older all kinds of people mash together and less stero-typing goes on. just try to be yourself and ignore people. trust me i was hugly stero-typed and now none of it matters i am who i am and my family and friends are all kinds of looks and personalitys.
