My friend just gave me a Game-boy Mico and when I turn it on it does the little Game-boy logo and makes the little noise and then I can't get it past that. (I have a game in) I've tried hitting start, select, and all the other buttons.(lol) Why can't I get to the game's main menu?

My son has problems like that all the time. Turn off the Gameboy, take the game out, blow on the cartridge part of the game and blow into where the game gets inserted. Sounds weird, but it works every time!

Check the inside of the game and system. All games should automatically "boot" after a few seconds. Like the first person said, you can blow in it to get any dust out. If they're both clean and still doesn't work, try another game. If it still doesn't work, your system probably isn't working.
