Although I liked the movie pretty well, I can safely say that the music in the film was to die for. This one's more focused on characters than plot development, so expect that going in, too.

Also, while it's not really in the same vein as Mitchell's Hedwig and the Angry Inch, it does clearly show the ways in which the director is trying to branch out.

Ultimately, if you go in with an open mind, you should have fun with Shortbus.
