First of all you cant compare the XBOX 360 and PS3 to the Wii. It really annoys me when people try to do this.
The 360 and the PS3's goals were to make a home entertainment center and i personally think the 360 did it better. The Wii is for games and games only, and that is all Nintendo has ever been about. Makes there video games and counsels cheaper :D
I like the Wii over all. Nintendo always looks into games games and more games. They try to make it more fun and create new ways to play. The 360 to me comes in second because it has good games and also does better with the whole home entertainment center thing, you can record tv order pizza and watch moves. The PS3 doesn't even rate on my list it is so far behind. Way to expensive for its time. They also copied the Wii last min. with the whole Six-Axis crap. I know a lot of people will probably argue with me about this but what the hell are you going to use that for, so far i have had two answers flying a plane and driving a car. Other then that useless, with the Wii its set in 3-D space, limits.....there are non.

I would choose the PS3 because of sheer power and usability. It does indeed cost more, but you are getting at least double the power of the runner-up system, the 360.
In my view, the Wii is a cheap, non-versatile, and underpowered system. The PS3 is an expensive, versatile, and extremely well-powered system. The 360 is a mid-range, mildly versatile, and mildly powerful system.
The PS3 is a better investment too. XBox will come out with a PS3 equivalent in a year or more, and will likely be the same price as the PS is now. At that point, the PS3 will have a massive library of games and the equivalent "720" will have little due to the fact that Microsoft will have released another system relatively recently. What's EVEN more, the "720" will have to be rushed to keep up in the graphics portion of the next-gen wars, and, as we all know, rushing is never a pretty thing in the console industry.

PS3, it can do everything the Wii can do and more. It even has motion sensors, like the Wii (it is the main controls for the game Warhawk) Theres also Blu-ray disc drive, which normally costs $1,000, thats whyy it costs so much. With memory stick slots on the PS3 makes it easier to transfer videos music & photos onto its 20GB or 60GB hard drive. It also can play PS2 and PS One games, and dvds. The wii cant even play dvds! It has you can also go on the internet and it even has its own instant messeging program, and the wii doesn't. If you have a PSP your able to hook that up to the PS3 and tranfer files from your PSP to the PS3. You will also be able to use it in more many different things in games (like as the controller and rear view mirror in Formula 1). Plus theres games like Resistance Fall of Man, Madden, and Warhawk (which uses the motion sensors). If there are and glitches or problems i'm sure you will be able to fix them with the system updates, just like the PSP has. It may cost more but that's only cuz you are gettin more and at a better quality.

Wii. I don't own it. It has the best controllers at the best price. Second will be Xbox 360, it has about the same graphics as the ps3 but much cheaper. Last but not least the PS3. It's the best if you really like movies, because it's the cheapest blueray player. Also it has good graphics and good games. But it's too expensive.

I actually got a Wii for Christmas. I think it's got the bestFun-Factor for the buck. Plus, the others just seem like very expensive video cards for my computer. I want a system that can do things my computer can't do.
And as far as the blue-ray goes... all I can say is you better hope the industry ends up going that direction and not to HD, because the whole thing is in limbo right now.

I would choose the wii over anything. like the xbox is good and stuff cuz it has graphics and stuff but i think the wii is definitely more fun. like you don't just sit on the couch and jam buttons, your actually moving. and the wii is sooo much more cheaper than anything else. Like i went to http://www.doiop.com/wiii and got it for a real bargain. the ps3 is still having some problems so if you really realy want it, i would wait.

My brother owns the WII and 360.. I love 'em both.. The Wii was a pain to get use to in the first hour [I was attempting to play Trauma center second opinion] but once I popped in the legend of zelda I was hooked!
The Wii really is a crap load of fun... ... It's really sad to see your relatives jumping around like idiots while plaing Wii sports [makes for good youtube though]

Ps3 sucks because of its ratings and everything. you have to buy a bluetooth headset for it and ps2 games suck on ps3.The competition is xbox 360 and wii. I would rather pick 360 because of its features. And by the way I got a wii and 360.
