You guys act like Tom Brady is smart for looking at his second and third reads and not running when the truth is it is because he is slow as hell. Vick runs a 4.24 in the 40 yard dash so ofcourse he is the best quarterback to have when the play breaks down so he can get out of the pocket. Im not saying he is a good qb, but the question is who is the best when the play breaks down and Mike Vick is that.

the thing about Mike Vick is he is still a scardy cat. He looks at his first read then panics. Thats not a play breaking down. He's the most overrated QB in the NFL along with Tom Brady.
Another thing is it couldn't be any easier for him. If you watch an Ohio State game, then an Atlanta game. OSU looks more advanced. And its true vick is basically running a high school offense. Im in a more complex system than him. For him its look at first reciever than run. But more than anything i think hes scared of getting hit.

if the play breaks down and there arent any receivers then he may be good at the run for a quarterback but i think that manning or brady could be very good 1's but vick is also good cause he always puts a defense in a different formation because he can go ahead and run

No.
First off he is usually the cause of the play breaking down.
Second, he's getting older and has lost a step. Since his passing game has always and will always suck I think he is going to decline FAST as a viable quarterback. I say that in 2 years he will be a backup somewhere.
Third, there are other very mobile QBs in the league, but because they can actually throw the ball they don't have 2 run on every other play.

I believe there are only a few times with the play actually "breaks down" before he runs. Many times he runs prematurally and tries to carry the game on his back. He needs to be patient with the coverage and with his recievers. Scramble out of the pocket with those quick legs and allow his recievers to make plays on the corners and deliever a catchable ball.
No I do not think he is the best QB to have when the play breaks down. Because he doesn't give plays much chance to develop. This may also be a partly due to the offensive line.
And how about their playoff run? Oh wait! They aren't in the playoffs. That is a clue!

Personally I think Vince Young and Peyton Manning are. Michael Vick is best when he runs from the start of the play.

Actually, I don't think so. I think Peyton Manning or Tom Brady would both be good choices. Vick can run and has a power arm, but isn't the most accurate.
