That the remotes are just out of reach and you watch whatever is on the tv rather then go get them, ive done it not proud of it but have.

my favourite trick is when you call somebody you live with into the room and do the whole "how was your day etc etc... err whilst your there can you pass me the remote....."

I have, but only when annoyed or knackered. I have a mate who comes over to watch DVDs and the prat leaves the remote where he sits. There have been a couple times when I switched on radio because I didn't want to move.

LoL I've done it....or a good way to get the remote without moving is....if you live with someone else say you don't feel good and ask them to get you a glass of water then when they give it to you...say hey could you hand me the remote too since your right here? :) Works like a charm for me!

Many times, if I'm lucky someone comes into the room and gives me the remote.
