I'm your typical college student and don't get enough sleep (around 5-6 hours a night). But every so often, I get 8-10 hours a night. Unfortunately, I still end up with black "bags" under my eyes. Sometimes, I wake up and feel even more tired with the 8-10 hours instead of 5-6 hours a night. How much sleep should I be getting and why is the extra hours not eliminating the black "bags" under my eyes?

Some people have baggy, tired looking eyes all the time. I do, and that's even when I get adequate sleep.

I love sleeping and I try to get at least 7 hours every night.

Try for 7/night.

I have the same problem as you.

Anyway, the extra hours wont reduce the black bags under your eyes. I am applying some sort of cream and it seems to help.

Do you assert that your no longer getting sufficient sleep?!!!!!!!! haha how approximately this, i bypass to sleep at a million or 2 am and upward thrust up at 8 and now and lower back 6 am and it is better than sufficient for me, I even understand school scholars who do no longer sleep the hollow night, they do what we call nuit blanche (white night in english) they stay wide awake all night to earnings...you're able to get 8 hours of sleep and via counting the hours which you sleep it is close you sleep 7 hours if I learn at an american college i'm going to be drowsing all day because of the fact it is extremely uncomplicated... I downloaded the classes of physics from MIT ( that's seen to be a stressful college) and via gazing the classes I see that MIT is giving the scholars extremely uncomplicated classes that we took in grade 9 in Lebanon!!!
