Ooo, interesting, I can see why it caught your eye! It would not only save money (which we all try to do) but it would help mother earth by recycling still good products.

Honestly, I've had hand-me-downs all my childhood as the 3rd girl in a row and 4th child born. I rarely, if ever, got anything new growing up. When I moved out, I had to furnish my apartment with ALL used goods (right down to the dishes and curtains) I didn't even have a bed until I was 5 months pregnant with my SECOND child.

Now that I make a decent penny or two, EVERYTHING is new! And I never buy used again.

I saw that story on Yahoo's News.
Eating foods from trash cans got me.

I have sort of a problem that would make some
of that easy. I don't like new things.
I'll go shopping. Then three days later someone will
see the bag, and ask when I went shopping?
I'll say three days ago, and they will say,
" You haven't even opened the bag ".
I do need to not buy things, if I'm not going to use them.
I had plans to use them, shopping in the store. Hmmm...

It's a great idea and I applaud anyone who can do this. But I would have a hard time living by this. Let me think on it though and I will get back to you. Might be fun to try. ;)

Can and have.... It's amazing what people will give you for free, if you ask for it.
