It relies upon no rely if or no longer somebody's demise leaves a gap on your existence. as an occasion, while the newshounds Frank Johnson, Auberon Waugh and 'Peter uncomplicated' died they actually left a gap because of the fact I continually looked forward to their columns. interior the comparable way you experience a pang if a commonly used author dies and you understand they gained't be writing to any extent further books distinctive human beings have distinctive favourites who make an effect on their lives so i would not want to generalise.

I think the death of Luther Vandross was most sad. He battled diabetes and the coma and all. He was a good man.
Also the loss of Ed Bradley, long time CBS reporter, correspondent, and 60 minutes host. I respected him as a journalist.

I dont know about most sad but the most absolute shocked was R&B singer, Aaliyah, when she died, because she was so young and becoming a true star and the way she died was so tragic and heart felt...I was definetly shocked by that.
Most sad I'd probably say Luther Vandross, because he's been battling his illness for years and when he was just getting better, he left us. He was such an iconic figure for the black community and for music lovers everywhere, he's truly missed!

You can't pick just one. We all get sad about someone we see either daily or weekly on T.V. We feel an attachment to them because they were brought into our living rooms, our family rooms, the den. I am sad whenever any of them die, I think of their families and how sad they must feel, because I know what it is like when I lose someone close to me. We can always catch a repeat of the deceased shows, but unlike some great news broadcasters, like Peter Jennings or Ed Bradley there are no repeats for the news.

I was deeply saddened over the death of guitarist Chet Atkins on 30 June 2001. He has been my mentor through the years and remains so.

Conway Twitty who died 2 days before I left California to go to Nashville for the week of fanfair. Everywhere we went they had tributes to Conway. I had just seen him in concert a few months before he died and had gotten an autograph from him. He was one of my very favorite country performers and when he and Loretta Lynn did duets they were always big hits.
