I am an American, and I love my country, and I love the principles that America was founded on. In a lot of ways, we are the greatest country in the world, or at least we have been at times.

But since the election of George W. Bush I have watched this country slide downhill. Although a lot of people run the United States, I blame the president, and his cabinet, for the disastrous mistakes that have been made since 2000. The worst of which was the invasion of Iraq.

Yes, Saddam Hussein was a dictator, and a murderer. But there are a lot of those in the world. Iraq was a sovereign nation which we did not have the right to invade.

And look at the chaos, death and horror that have ensued. I am American, but what has been done in our name sickens me.

What can we, the people of the United States, do to make it right?

Majority of Arabs States are Sunnis and they are not happy with Shites being incharge in Iraq. You cannot bring peace or win in Iraq by supporting Shites. The only thing United States is doing by encouraging Shites in Iraq is Strengthening the influence of Iran and making other Sunni Arabs very unhappy .And that is NO GOOD.SO STRAT DEALING WITH SUNNIS IF YOU WANT TO TURN THE THINGS OVER.

No, many Republicans did not help the warfare in Iraq, it became not an invasion. Invasion implies dropping your u . s . to the invader, which in no way occurred. The warfare became voted on with the aid of congress and exceeded with the aid of a huge majority of the two Dem's and Rep's, and became not only fought for WMD's. there have been many different reasons for it. yet it incredibly is historic previous, and regrettably might have been carried out very like the way they are doing it in Syria., Egypt, Libya, Tunisia, and so on. it incredibly is NOW stated as the Arab Spring, under Obama, yet 1000's of voters have nevertheless died. it continues to be incredibly the removing of an exceedingly undesirable dictator. They tried it in Iran and failed, undergo in techniques? lots of human beings died there too. the version in Iraq is that many human beings died combating for what the Arab Springs human beings are dying for now.

Get out of Iraq immediately and then foot the bill for re-building what US destroyed and bring back Saddam to life and put him back on the throne as President of IRAQ - Fire Bush and his Gangsters from the White House - Sieze all the assets of Hallburton .

Then apologize to people of Iraq for trying to tell them how to live in their own Country and accept the fact that Democracy is not for the Middle East and Muslim Culture.

Stop backing Israel.

So how exactly has the country gone downhill? The economy is great, unemployment is low, as well as intrest rates, housing is still good. Poverty has decreased a lot. I agree that the decision to go to war based on faulty evidence was wrong, but not the decision to depose Sadaam, and kill terrorists there. I think we can make it up to them by getting their military ready to defend their own country FAST! I think the people in the country who are not police are not military should be disarmed. Then I think we should leave.

Since we've liberated 50 million in Afghanistan and Iraq, how about finishing the job the right way? Creating stable democracies in the Middle East is the way to make it right.

Take out Iran, North Korea, and Syria.

Establish marshall law in the middle east. Outlaw radical Islam. Kill militia leaders and and religious zealots.

Move on to the rest of the world and do the same. Kill all intolerant people and let tolerance reign.

You aren't American you are anti American You hate the fact that we are rich and powerful. You want us to be attacked and taken over by Muslim extremists. Liberals are so wrong. Saddam forced us to go in .And there were many other countries in our coalition. No WMD's tell that to the 180,000 Kurdish men, women and children who were gassed to death. A clue Iran is next unless they change.
