Wii: Less expensive, more interactive type of gameplay, highly supported by Electronic Arts, use of old sega and nintendo games, smaller and more space-efficient, weaker graphics, memory, no DVD playback, etc.
360: HD capability, great internet gaming network, superior graphics, sound, some backwards compatibility. Far larger, more expensive (~$400.00 for closest equivalent package to Wii).
As for the guy who said that the Wii electorcutes people. This is total nonsense.The wii controller is battery powered. You could bathe with it and it wouldn't electrocute you, although it would destroy the controller.

You shouldn't get a Wii or a Xbox. You should get a PS3, it can do everything the Wii can do and more. It even has motion sensors, like the Wii (it is the main controls for the game Warhawk) Theres also Blu-ray disc drive, which normally costs $1,000, thats whyy it costs so much. With memory stick slots on the PS3 makes it easier to transfer videos music & photos onto its 20GB or 60GB hard drive. It also can play PS2 and PS One games, and dvds. The wii cant even play dvds! It has you can also go on the internet and it even has its own instant messeging program, and the wii doesn't. If you have a PSP your able to hook that up to the PS3 and tranfer files from your PSP to the PS3. You will also be able to use it in more many different things in games (like as the controller and rear view mirror in Formula 1). Plus theres games like Resistance Fall of Man, Madden, and Warhawk (which uses the motion sensors). If there are and glitches or problems i'm sure you will be able to fix them with the system updates, just like the PSP has. It may cost more but that's only cuz you are gettin more and at a better quality.

It really depends on what kind of gamer you are.
I think the Wii is the most amazing machine I've seen for a long time. I sold my Xbox 360 last week because after playing my new Nintendo Wii, I see no reason to have other consoles. High Def games I'm not really interested in, but if I wanted to get one I could play it on my PC.
Wii is cheap, easy to use, sleek, allows you to access the internet and data on SD cards and is tons and tons of fun.
Since I got it my friends and family have been completely won over by it and now want to get one themselves!

It really depends what type of gamer you are (Do not get a PS3, the motion sensors are nothing like the Wiis). If you liked the original Xbox's game selection and like to play online you should get a 360. If you like fun little distractions or something interactive get a Wii.
The Wii has less games going for it and worse graphics but better gameplay. The 360 has better online play and games, but it overheats like crazy and games get old quick.

DONOT BUY A Wii!!! my friend was playing tennis and he sweated and he got electricuted because the controllers arent waterproof!!! he is still in hospital recovering today so definatly buy an xbox 360 and btw its relly your choice if you wanna workout with a Wii and risk getting electricuted or play graphics games with Xbox 360 and be safe
i personally think the wii is just another cheap ripp off of the Eyetoy.. but an eyetoy and PS3 if u wanna workout like that

360 because the graphics are better and all around better too but the Wii has the game play advantage but sooner or later the game play will get annoying

I would get a Wii I think its much cooler than a X-Box and I know because I have both of them and I am usally plaing the Wii
