If a bar magnet is spinning perpendicular to its axis, can AC current 'boost' its magnetic field?

Alright, basically I want to know if alternating current applied to an electromagnetic coil near a magnetic field pulsing at the same frequency will boost the magnetic field more than the electromagnet alone would. Also, would an alternating magnetic field, when spun fast enough, create a slight repelling force?
